Description

1906 $5 PR50 PCGS. Only 85 proofs were struck, but a surprising number of examples have survived. Although this piece has been briefly circulated, it has only trivial abrasions and retains plenty of reflectivity. Pleasing lemon-yellow in the margins surrounds the pumpkin-orange patina that drapes the majority of the surfaces. A relatively affordable and boldly detailed representative. Housed in a first-generation PCGS holder.(Registry values: P1)
