Description

Lovely MS64 Full Head 1926-S Quarter

1926-S 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS. CAC. In general, the strike is above-average, and a small but distinct indentation at Liberty's ear ensure Full Head status. Luster is pleasing, and subtle gold and blue elements visit otherwise pale silver-gray surfaces. A handful of small ticks on Liberty's figure account for the grade. While this San Francisco issue is not so elusive as its famous 1927-S neighbor, it must be recognized as one of the more challenging Standing Liberty quarter issues with Full Head details. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 21 in 64 Full Head, 22 finer (11/08).(Registry values: N4719)
