Sharp VF35 1800 Eagle, R.4

1800 $10 VF35 PCGS. B. 1-A, Taraszka-23, R.4. The only die marriage known for this scarce date. A later die state with a bold die crack (as made) through the tops of LIBERTY and below the olive stem to the tail feathers. Lustrous and sharp for the assigned grade, although the reverse border near 7 o'clock has a series of short pinscratches. There is a small obverse dig at the top of the bust near star 13.
