Fine 1793 Wreath Cent, S-11c
Lettered Edge
1793 1C Wreath Cent, Lettered Edge Fine 12 PCGS. S-11c,
B-16c, Low R.3. Possibly the scarcer S-11b, since the holder
precludes proper examination of the edge. A chocolate-brown cent
that has an attractive obverse. The reverse has minor peripheral
pitting and a few thin vertical laminations. A popular type, struck
only during the initial year of the U.S. Mint. MRB VG 8.(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 223J, PCGS# 1350, GSID# 1223)
