Description
1914-S Barber Quarter MS66, Ex: Eliasberg
1914-S 25C MS66 PCGS. Ex: Eliasberg. The low mintage 1914-S, one of a mere 264,000 pieces struck, is one notch below the "big three" in the series for overall scarcity and is an understandably challenging issue in Mint State. The surfaces of this high quality representative are layered in milky olive-gray patina and have a few speckles of carbon scattered across the obverse. Outstanding quality for this sought-after San Francisco issue and an impressive pedigree to boot. Population: 4 in 66, 1 finer (11/04).(#5669) (Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23ZZ, PCGS# 5669, Greysheet# 5458)
