Wildly Toned 1881-S Dollar, MS66
1881-S $1 MS66 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Sonnier, Cowle. The obverse has toning to drive Morgan dollar collectors wild, cloth-patterned magenta-violet, gold, and green on Liberty's cheek with patches of the same distributed on the rest of that side. The reverse is as intensely lustrous as the obverse, though toning on that side is limited to touches of champagne and yellow at the margins.(Registry values: P1, N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2549, PCGS# 7130, Greysheet# 7486)
