Description
Important S-238 1802 Cent, XF
1802 1C XF40 PCGS. S-238, B-11, R.4. Die State II, with crack through UN of UNITED. The reverse is distinctive, with a die crack through the asymmetric fraction a strong diagnostic. Luminous chocolate-brown surfaces show granularity at the lower left reverse and a depression between the wreath and the first A of AMERICA. On the obverse, there are light scattered marks and an abrasion at 3 o'clock on the rim. MRB VF25.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 224F, PCGS# 1470, GSID# 798)
