Conditionally Scarce Near-Gem 1909 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
1909 $20 MS64 PCGS. The 1909 Saint-Gaudens is an exceedingly difficult condition rarity in MS64. This is a sharply struck near-Gem whose satiny surfaces display lovely bright peach and lime-gold color. Actually quite close to full Gem status, with only the slightest imperfections evident. The obverse is especially clean.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26FB, PCGS# 9150, Greysheet# 10136)
