Gem MS65 1787 Fugio Cent
1787 1C Fugio Cent, STATES UNITED, Cinquefoils MS65 Red and Brown NGC. Newman 11-X, Low R.4. A lovely Gem that has ample mint red color interspersed with medium steel-blue hues. Crisply struck and impressive. Struck a few degrees off center toward 5 o'clock. Struck from a clashed obverse die, the reverse has several thin mint-made die cracks. Listed on page 63 of the 2004 Guide Book.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B8E, PCGS# 884, GSID# 187)
