Very Rare Copper 1860 Clark, Gruber Ten MS62
1860 $10 Clark, Gruber $10 Copper Die Trial MS62 [Brown] PCGS. K-3, Low R.7. From the same dies as the regular issue Clark, Gruber gold ten dollar but significantly rarer. This is the first Heritage auction appearance of a copper die trial for this issue since April 1994. A well struck chocolate-brown specimen with glimpses of ocean-blue in protected areas. The obverse field has a few minor marks, while the reverse is splendidly unabraded. Certified in a green label holder.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# GE55, PCGS# 10145, Greysheet# 11748)
