1855-C G$1 --Plugged--NCS. XF Details. Variety 9-K with the second 5 in the date centered under the right half of the A in DOLLAR. This Type Two Charlotte gold dollar was once affixed to jewelry, but mounts have been removed from the reverse at 6 and 12 o'clock. Those areas are crudely tooled. Glossy, bright, and slightly wavy.
