Scarce 1787 Fugio Cent, Newman 12-X, MS62 Brown PCGS
1787 1C Fugio Cent, STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils MS62 Brown PCGS. Newman 12-X, R.3. Choice, glossy brown surfaces with hard, satiny luster and milk chocolate color. A noticeable planchet void (as made) is seen at the right side of the obverse and the corresponding area of the reverse. A couple of small die cracks appear over the sun and rays at the top of the obverse. Listed on page 64 of the 2003 Guide Book.From the Wesley Van Olden Collection of Colonial Coinage.
