Description
Lightly Toned 1917-S Type One Quarter, MS65 Full Head
1917-S 25C Type One MS65 Full Head PCGS. Although any 1917 Type One quarter, regardless of where it was struck, can easily be found with Full Head details, that fact does not diminish the importance of this specimen. It has thick, frosted mint luster on both sides that are accented by lovely champagne and gold toning. It is important to note that a portion of the date is not struck up on this piece. Otherwise, all aspects of this Gem are exceptional.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2433, PCGS# 5711, Greysheet# 5568)
