Uncirculated 1918/7-D Nickel
1918/7-D 5C MS62 PCGS. The underdigit is strong and obvious to the unaided eye. The surfaces on both the obverse and reverse are bright and satiny with the faintest overlay of color. A couple of tiny planchet flakes and slight softness of strike account for the grade of this important rarity in the Buffalo Nickel series. Seldom encountered in Mint State with only six other pieces graded as such by PCGS with 21 in higher grades (6/01).Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 3939, GSID# 3115)
