Description

1895-O $1 AU58 PCGS. A borderline Mint State example with light tan toning over lustrous silver surfaces. The difference in value between AU58 and MS60 examples of this date is extreme. Many collectors working on complete Morgan dollar sets would be delighted to own an example such as this, and now have just such an opportunity. This coin would not look blatantly out of place when placed in a collection of Mint State Morgans, which cannot be said for all AU58 coins. A single obverse scratch from Liberty's chin to the rim is noted, but it is only visible at certain angles.
