Near-Mint 1803 Bust Dime
1803 AU 55 NGC. JR-4, R.5. Readily distinguishable by the 3 in the date tilting right and numerous die cracks on the right side of the reverse. Well struck with slate-gray toning on both obverse and reverse. This is a very rare variety with only one Mint State specimen known. This piece is definitely at the upper end of the Condition Census, and one of the finest pieces known. Population: 1 in 55, 1 finer.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 236L, PCGS# 4473, GSID# 3965)
