Description

NGC 1852-C MS 62. One of the more common Charlotte half eagles, but perhaps not quite as common as once thought. In AU and mint state the '52-C is rated a mid-R.7 with an estimated 8-9 pieces believed extant in each grade. This is quite an attractive specimen. The fields are slightly reflective and the color is a medium golden-orange. Well struck in most areas with only slight softness noted on the eagle's neck and the hair curls of Liberty. Trends $13,500 in MS 60, unlisted any finer.
