Description
Outlandishly Toned 1880-S Dollar, MS66
1880-S $1 MS66 PCGS. CAC. Ex: DeFalco, Cowle. Both sides offer potent, swirling luster, and the reverse has a light mix of silver-gray interior toning and green-gold border elements. The obverse, by contrast, has jaw-dropping patina that shifts from aqua to yellow-green to peach, blue, and violet, all within the space of a few millimeters. Amazing color that must be seen to be believed.(Registry values: P1, N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2544, PCGS# 7118, Greysheet# 7476)
