Description

Frosty Gem 1918 Half Dollar

1918 50C MS65 NGC. Although a bit of russet color is evident in the peripheries, the overall visual effect of this coin is of a white and highly lustrous beauty. The strike is strong, with a few inconsequential markings visible in the obverse fields. MS65 is the highest grade for which the 1918 half dollar is reasonably available (for a price); the date becomes scarce in MS66, and none have been certified higher.
