Description

Select 1801 Ten Dollar

1801 MS 63 NGC. Wide Date. B. 2-B. The Wide Date 1801s are the most common variety among all 1795-1804 eagles. As such, many of them are held in type collections as there is little demand for the variety. This piece has pinpoint striking definition with the only noticeable weakness on the left part of the ribbon on the reverse. Fully lustrous with bright orange-gold toning and only minor imperfections, this jewel would fit nicely in an advanced type set.
