Fine Details 1794 Flowing Hair Half

1794 50C --Scratched, Rim Filed--ANACS. Fine 12 Details. O-101, High R.3. Golden-brown and aqua-blue borders frame the slate-gray fields and devices. Pinscratched above the bust tip and beneath the L in LIBERTY, and the lower right obverse rim is crudely filed. Bright centers suggest a cleaning, and the reverse has a few mint-made adjustment marks. Despite its issues, this is a nicely detailed example from the coveted and low mintage introductory year of the denomination.
