Very Rare 1969-S Doubled Die Cent
1969-S Doubled Die AU 58 PCGS. A second example of this very rare and highly sought after error. The obverse devices are noticeably doubled (except for the figure of Lincoln and the mintmark). The lustrous, reddish-brown tinted surfaces show numerous small abrasions, the most prominent being a series of three short diagonal marks below the memorial on the reverse. Very rare and of great interest to advanced specialists in the series.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22GJ, PCGS# 2921, GSID# 2366)
