Description
Attractive Near-Mint 1918/7-S Quarter
1918/7-S 25C AU58 PCGS. This important example is more attractive than some BU quality overdates that we have handled. The strike is typical for the error, but virtually all features that were imparted by the dies remain. As such, both sides are generally bold in definition with only minimal rub over the highest points. A lot of mint luster remains, and the surfaces are minimally abraded for a circulated branch mint Quarter. Peripherally toned in mottled golden-orange shades, this coin is sure to please even the most discriminating specialist.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 243A, PCGS# 5726, GSID# 5571)
