Elusive Choice 1866 Motto Quarter
1866 25C Motto MS64 PCGS. The introductory Motto issue, the luster is mildly reflective, not unexpected since just 17,000 business strikes were struck. Silver coins were out of circulation in favor of Fractional Currency during this era. Splashes of apricot-gold and aqua-blue color enrich the borders. The centers and right side stars are not fully brought up by the dies, and the obverse field has a few faint slide marks.
