1896-S 25C MS64 NGC. The Choice example in this lot offers remarkable eye appeal for the grade assigned. Rose and champagne shadings dominate each side, and a small area around WE in IN GOD WE TRUST displays a blue-green tint. The luster is vibrant, almost flashy on the reverse, and the modest abrasion on the chin that partly accounts for the grade is hardly distracting.
