Description

Mint State 1795 Draped Bust Dollar

1795 Draped Bust MS 62 PCGS. B-14, BB-51. The first Draped Bust variety, with Liberty's profile placed too far to the left. This is a pleasing, deeply toned specimen that displays only a trace of the often-present adjustment marks on the reverse. PCGS has graded only 3 pieces as MS 62 with 9 in higher grades, thus mint state examples can legitimately be called rare.
