Description
Sharp Gem 1895 Barber Half
1895 50C MS65 NGC. Light touches of jade-green and gold grace the obverse rims, with a golden-gray center, while the reverse offers deeper pink-gold, ice-blue, and amber toning. Three light milling marks on the cheek likely prevent an even higher Mint State grade. This sharply struck Gem is from an underrated P-mint issue in the Barber half series. Census: 9 in 65, 3 finer (1/08).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24LS, PCGS# 6471, Greysheet# 6556)
