Description
1846 MS 60 NGC. This is the finest example graded of this scarce issue by either service. As a date, the 1846 is a scarce one in any grade with the few known specimens grading only VF-XF. This is a very sharply struck piece that has bright, flashy mint luster. Its grade is derived from numerous small abrasions that are peppered across each side, none of which are serious enough to warrant individual mention. An extraordinary opportunity to acquire this finest known (and finest certified) 1846 ten-dollar.
