Scarce Early Dime Variety 1803 AU55 ANACS
1803 10C AU55 ANACS. JR-4, R.5. Readily attributed by the 3 in the date tilting right, and by numerous die cracks on the right side of the reverse. Richly toned in turquoise and reddish-gray patina. A fingerprint fragment is somewhat noticeable on the left side of the obverse. The piece is lightly worn and free of serious abrasions. An attractive Choice AU example of this scarce early dime variety. (Registry values: P7)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 236L, PCGS# 4473, GSID# 3965)
