Description
1870 $1 PR62 PCGS. A razor sharp example that has a bright, essentially untoned appearance. The fields have a few wispy handling marks and hairlines that limit the grade. While 1,000 proofs were struck, the combined certified populations are much lower, and suggest that a large portion of the mintage has not survived. From The Willamette Collection.(#7018) (Registry values: N1793)
