Description

1866 5C Rays PR62 PCGS. As the first year of issue for five cent nickel coinage, the 1866 is always a collector favorite in proof format. This is a brilliant coin with deeply reflective proof mirrors in the fields. The devices also show a slight (but unacknowledged) overlay of mint frost. Lightly hairlined.(Registry values: N1793)
