Description
Desirable Near-Mint 1893-S Morgan Dollar
1893-S $1 AU58 PCGS. Untoned save for a faint blush of apricot color on the lower obverse. The only abrasions of note are a shallow blemish down from Liberty's ear and a short vertical cut near her jaw. There is little or no actual break in the satiny luster, only trivial rub across the highpoints that precludes a Mint State rating. Among the more desirable AU representatives of this issue that this cataloger has seen, and a coin that has probably traded as Brilliant Uncirculated at least once.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255U, PCGS# 7226, Greysheet# 7614)
