Near-Mint 1797 Large Eagle Ten

1797 $10 Large Eagle AU 58 NGC. B. 2-D, R.4. First year of the Heraldic Eagle type, the B. 2-D is the only 1797 variety to display an arc pattern to the reverse stars, thus making it relatively easy to attribute. Each side is well centered and relatively well defined overall with some softness noted in the centers. The orange-gold surfaces retain good portions of mint luster with a few small field marks scattered here and there. A median rarity among Heraldic Eagle tens.
