1798 $5 Large Eagle, Large 8, 13 Star Reverse XF45 ICG. B. 2-D, Miller-27, R.4. The leaf closest to the C in AMERICA is merely an outline, as it was never completed by the die maker. There are heavy die breaks (as struck) between ES in STATES and above the O in OF. Typically struck in the centers, and the left side stars are also weak. The luster is extensive if somewhat subdued, and there are no mentionable abrasions.
