Renowned 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter MS65 Full Head
1916 25C MS65 Full Head NGC. Renowned as one of the classic rarities among 20th century United States numismatic items, the transitional year 1916 Standing Liberty quarter is seldom found with the combination of strike and quality that justifies the grade of the presently offered example. Both sides of this matte-like Gem are untoned and display an almost grainy texture that continues from fields to the design elements. The strike is not only well executed on the focal point of the design, Liberty's head, but all of the rivets on her shield are visible to some degree.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242Y, PCGS# 5705, GSID# 5534)
