Description

Semiprooflike 1879-CC Dollar, MS63

1879-CC $1 MS63 PCGS. An attractive example of this popular earlier Carson City Morgan dollar, which had less representation in government holdings than several surrounding dates. This Select piece is well struck and has warm luster with semireflective fields, and hints of gold-gray patina are seen on each side. Aside from a few abrasions on the portrait, the coin has clean surfaces for the grade.(Registry values: P7, N2998)
