Description
1829 N-2 Cent, MS64 Brown
Noyes Plate Coin
1829 1C Large Letters, N-2, R.2, MS64 Brown PCGS. CAC. This
is the plate coin in United States Large Cents 1816-1839
(Noyes, 1991) and he conservatively grades the piece AU55. Just a
trace of cabinet friction is apparent on the high points of the
reverse on this lovely chestnut-brown example. Full cartwheel
luster is present with excellent eye appeal. Our EAC grade
MS60.Ex: Lester Merkin (4/1966), lot 17; 1991 EAC Sale, lot 202.
