1811 Half Dollar, O-105, Satiny MS62

1811 50C Small 8, O-105, R.4, MS62 PCGS. A scarce Small 8 variety, this example lightly clashed on each side. Luster is satiny and free of major abrasions. Both sides show a blush of light golden toning, although the reverse also has a few small brass-colored overtones. Some strike weakness is noted along the top of Liberty's cap, on stars 9 and 10, and along the corresponding portion of the lower reverse periphery.
