Description

1872 Cent, MS66 Red and Brown
Conditionally Rare

1872 1C MS66 Red and Brown PCGS. Bold N in ONE. This 1872 Indian cent's chief hallmark is its exceptional preservation. PCGS has seen only 10 pieces in MS66 across all three color categories and none finer; this coin is one of seven Red and Brown representatives (11/15). The headdress feathers and diamond ribbon showcase razor-sharp detail, even while the wreath bow is slightly soft. Significant coppery-orange luster shines through dappled auburn-brown toning on each side.(Registry values: N4719)
