Rarely Encountered so Fine
1902 $5 MS66 PCGS. Generally viewed as a common date, the
1902 half eagle is actually a condition rarity in Gem and finer
grades. This Premium Gem representative is exceptionally rare,
displaying frosty yellow-gold luster and bold design elements. A
couple of faint grazes in the obverse fields are all that hinder
perfection. Almost unobtainable finer. Population: 8 in 66 (1 in
