1873 Open 3 No Arrows Dime, MS64
Attractive Original Toning

1873 10C Open 3, No Arrows, F-102, R.3, MS64 PCGS. The Open 3 1873 Seated dime is rare in Mint State. Only 60,000 pieces were struck, and few escaped attrition. This Choice example offers well-struck motifs and satiny luster. Natural progressions of toning begin with aquamarine, amber, and gold at the borders and lighten to champagne-gray in the centers. A few small abrasions limit the grade but pose little distraction for the MS64 level. Population: 3 in 64, 1 finer (12/15).
