Description

1907-S Quarter, MS66
Scarce Issue in Mint State

1907-S 25C MS66 PCGS. Although more than 1.3 million pieces were struck, the 1907-S Barber quarter is scarce in Mint State and notably rare at the Premium Gem level. This piece is second to few. Old-time aquamarine, champagne, and lavender-gray toning encompasses each side, and the fields showcase modest reflectivity. An area of predictable strike weakness appears on the eagle's right (facing) wing junction. Population: 8 in 66 (1 in 66+), 3 finer (12/15).(Registry values: N2998)
