1805 Quarter, B-3, AU50
Attractive, Original Coloration
1805 25C B-3, R.1, AU50 NGC. CAC. Tompkins Die State 5,
terminal. Severely clashed and cracked. B-3 is an available
variety, suitable for type purposes. Nonetheless, CAC-endorsed,
original AU examples such as this are seldom seen. The strike is
even and well-centered, with the only mentionable weakness observed
on the peripheral stars. Lavender-gray toning blankets satiny
luster on both sides, while tinges of russet, gold, and amber also
appear in the protected areas. An outstanding Draped Bust type
