1871 H10C MS66+ PCGS. CAC. The 1871 is one of the more frequently encountered late-date half dimes, and as such is often used for type sets. This example exudes bright frosted mint luster over each side with just a dab of golden patina on the lower obverse. Sharply struck on the obverse, less so on the reverse. Population: 24 in 66 (3 in 66+), 2 finer. CAC: 10 in 66, 2 finer (5/16).(Registry values: N1793)
