Description

1909-S Lincoln Cent, MS66 Red
Incredible Color and Luster

1909-S 1C MS66 Red PCGS. CAC. A gorgeous orange-red Premium Gem of this popular low mintage issue. The design elements are well struck, and a splash of lilac is seen on the upper reverse. Lustrous surfaces display a pebbly-like texture, especially on the reverse. A couple of light inoffensive flecks are noted on each side. The 1909-S has a reputation for being well made, and a number of pieces were set aside, yet PCGS (as of 6/16), has only certified six MS67 Red examples finer.
