1955 50C MS66+ Full Bell Lines PCGS. The 1955 is the lowest-mintage coin in the Franklin half dollar series (about 2.5 million pieces). Premium Gem is the finest numerical grade likely to be encountered; PCGS reports a mere four examples finer and NGC shows none grading higher (6/16). A swath of deep bluish-green, lavender, and gold toning concentrates on the left obverse border, while a similar color palette, though lighter, gravitates to the reverse margin.(Registry values: N991)
