Moderately Contrasted
1894 $1 PR63 NGC. Lavender-gold interiors cede to olive-gold
and sea-green peripheral toning on this attractive 1894 proof
dollar. The strike is full, and any grade-limiting hairlines are
well masked by the patina. Both sides show perceptible contrast
through the toning but not starkly enough to warrant a Cameo
