Description

1804 Quarter, B-1, Good 4
Introductory Year of the Heraldic Type

1804 25C B-1, R.3, Good 4 PCGS. The introductory date of the Heraldic Eagle type, and also the rarest, due to an extensively circulated mintage of 6,738 pieces. The tops of a few lower reverse peripheral legends show slight fading into the rim, but the border elements are otherwise clear. Deep sea-green and golden-brown fields surround the slate-gray design elements.
Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2010), lot 856.
