Description

1945 Quarter, MS67+
Lightly Toned, Thickly Frosted

1945 25C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. It is amazing to consider how few Washington quarters survive in MS67 condition given a massive production of 74.3 million coins. All Superb Gems are very scarce, but high-end examples coins with Plus designations and CAC stickers are major rarities. Dusky patina reveals translucent elements of tan-gold and crimson on the obverse. The reverse shows a few splashes of color but is otherwise brilliant. Thickly frosted and tremendously appealing. Population: 47 in 67 (5 in 67+), 2 finer. CAC: 20 in 67, 0 finer (7/16).(Registry values: N491)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 245B, PCGS# 5827, Greysheet# 5626)
