Large Eagle, Pointed 9, 10 Arrows
1798 $1 Large Eagle, Pointed 9, 10 Arrows, B-13, BB-108, R.2,
XF45 PCGS. Bowers Die State II. A crack extends from the rim
down to the right side of L(IBERTY). This is one of two Pointed 9,
10 Arrows varieties for the date. BB-108 is distinguished from the
scarcer BB-107 by star 7 closer to the L in LIBERTY. Each side of
this Choice XF Draped Bust dollar is brilliant with faint splashes
of golden-tan and lavender patina. Sharply struck devices display
as-made file marks across the portrait and near the upper-right
